brainCloud provides all the building blocks necessary to build great real-time multiplayer experiences as commonly used in Arena Shooters and MOBA’s like Team Fortress 2 and League of Legends.
brainCloud’s new Real-time Tech (RTT) infrastructure is ideal for gameplay scenarios where all players must be online at the same time, and the interactions are still in real-time, though the gameplay isn’t as sensitive to latency issues. Examples of this multiplayer would include online card games, like Uno, Hearthstone or Marvel Snap.
brainCloud has a full implementation of another very popular form of multiplayer we call “One-Way Offline Multiplayer”. This format is great for “base building” style of games where an Attacker attacks a settlement (base, camp, fort, etc.) that has been set up by the Defender. Again, a great thing about this form of multiplayer is that the Defender does not have to be online during the attack.
brainCloud has a full implementation of Turn-by-Turn Async Multiplayer, arguably the most common form of mobile multiplayer – made popular by games such as Words With Friends, Draw Something, Trivia Crack, etc. This supports casual & social types of games – that don’t require the players to be online at the same time.
We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
